Today, we welcome Souvik Giri in our group. Souvik obtained his PhD with Simon Clarke at the University of Oxford, and will now work with us on finding new quantum materials.

Our group has for the first time a paper published in Helvetica Chimica Acta. We have discovered new Phases in the Sc-Mn-Si and Sc-Mn-Al-Si systems through molten indium flux synthesis. The paper is dedicated to Prof. Roger Alberto.
