New paper out in JACS
We recently discovered a new incommensurately modulated phase in K₁₋ₓCrSe₂, a rare case where structural modulation actually enhances magnetic ordering. This unexpected behavior opens up new possibilities for tuning magnetic properties in low-dimensional materials, with potential implications for future quantum and spintronic applications.
Our findings, now published in JACS, highlight how subtle structural changes can lead to significant magnetic effects — offering fresh insights into the interplay between crystal structure and magnetism.
