Welcome to the Laboratory for Quantum Materials Discovery.

We are located in the Department of Quantum Matter Physics at the Faculty of Science at the University of Geneva.

Our Laboratory is also known as the vonRohrLab.

Our interdisciplinary research is at the intersection between chemistry and physics. We aim at the discovery of new quantum materials — i.e., materials displaying collective macroscopic quantum properties — by using both chemical and physical design principles.
